Maruken Suisan

Maruken Suisan is an “oden shop” located in Akabane that was founded in 1958.  Oden is a type of Japanese stew, and Akabane is an area famous for “senbero” bars which originally means “get drunk for 1,000 yen.”

They offer up to 50 kinds of “oden-dane” (ingredients for oden), which are made from fish purchased every morning from Tsukiji Fish Market, and customers can also enjoy alcoholic drinks in the standing bar area of the shop.
